By default, this will be at (Obtain DNS server address automatically, but you are going to click ( Use the following DNS server address) option). Next, type in the IP addresses for the preferred and alternate DNS servers you want to use. Hardware issues like your modem or router: Modems are not different from other electronic equipment, sometimes getting stuck in an overload state and slowed down all performance, speed also. If you never rebooted or haven't rebooted for a while your modem, you should do it now. Just unplug the unit from the wall outlet and wait from 10 to 15 seconds to connect back.
